Parent/Child Event Registration Fees

Hey Everyone! 


I work for a dance company and we have two main branches of what we do. Performances and education events. I'm working on the Education side of things and I'm trying to figure out the best way for us to use the events features for tracking our summer camps. Right now we register parents and their children as guests but it gets a little clunky when you want to check who's actually enrolled. So we've also been using Attributes to track just the children who are enrolling but that gets tricky when we want to cross check it with the payments. Does anyone else use RE for classes and such where often parents are paying for their children. How do you do it?

we use the event module for all our classes and camp.  We register the child in the event and link the payments to the parents constituent accounts.

Thanks Beth! Can you tell me how do you check then if all of the students that are enrolled if their parents are the only ones linked to the payments?

Not sure what you are asking, we run reports that show who is registered.
