MIGRATED TO AZURE - anyone else having issues???

Not loving the new look & feel of 'Azure'?? - seems to be blurred & a bit washed out, not to mention all the little buggy things we are noticing all day - a very frustrating day database wise!!!!

We were told that the move would only affect NXT - we now have to log on to database via NXT anyway so clearly this effected both NXT & database.

Do you mean to say the colors of your application interface look "blurred & a bit washed out"? If so, the operating environment of Azure servers would have nothing to do with the colors/brightness on your screen anymore than the colors of your Microsoft Word interface would depend upon if you are running Windows 10 versus Windows XP.


Can you describe "all the little buggy things you are noticing all day"?

glitching whilst putting a gift batch through - flicking from the gift batch screen to home screen

had to reinstall all the gift batch templates 

regional settings had also been reset

basically all settings were reset to factory settings (very annoying)

log on through NXT - none of this was explained to us prior to the migration - we were specifically told that the database view would not be affected. this was not the case.

not sure what you mean about the operating environment of azure - all I know is that when we logged on to RE previously the font etc wasn't blurred, now the side menu panel seems to have a shadow  (not sure if you can see it in the screenshot below)   (personally don't like the grey surrounding the pop up boxes feels a bit greyscale)

We definitely saw some minor changes to the look and feel of database view.  Sometimes windows randomly minimize when a process completes, static queries also take a lot longer to save, and it was a bit of a journey to get operational with the new logon procedures.  However, for us, the Azure migration solved more problems than it created.
