online express for event invitaiton

We have a leadership/board dinner that I'm considering using online express for the invitation (at the very least, save the date). This event is not cost to the attendees. We need rsvp's, meal preferences, guest info, etc. We've always used a printed invitation with a reply/response card. Anyone have experience using online express for (some aspect of) inviting to an event? Save the date? internal constituents like staff, faculty, board?

You can create an event registration form in Online Express that you can embed in a page on your website, and include the link in the email you send through Online Express. It's really simple, the program walks you through it. You may have to create attributes for Meal Preferences, but other than that, as long as you can create the event in RE, you should be good! Is there anything more you're looking for?
