RE NXT dashboards not loading?

Analysis - Report Builder issue/question


I have built several dashboards so far with varying degrees of success. In a couple of cases, after I saved the dashboard (both saved, and saved and closed multiple times), I was not able to access the dashboard again. When I click on the link to the dashboard, only the hypnotic green dot in the middle of the screen appears, with the name of the dashboard in the background but the insight panels do not load.


If I use the back button on the browser to get off the page with the non-loading dashboard, I go back to the NXT home page. When I navigate back to Analysis - Report Builder, I get the message indicating there are pending changes in the dashboard that would not load. If I choose to restore the changes, I get a blank dashboard that I can work in. If I choose to discard the changes, the cycle continues with the green dot. Several other dashboards I have built work just fine.


Any suggestions or known issues?

I have had this same problem multiple times. It's been very frustrating because each time it has happened, I have had to start all over. Happy to hear if anyone has found a solution!

I'm having the same experience.  I chatted with support, who recommended I run the Remove Dashboards utility for the affected user following this link.

I do not feel comfortable doing this since I haven't been able to find a knowledgebase solution that references how to add back the dashboards.  I shared my concern with my support person and he said he'll get back with on that.  Still waiting...
