Highlighting Recurring Gifts Option on General Donation Form

How successful are you using RE and OLX for recurring gifts?  Are there other payment processing vendors you would recommend (our website is with FireSpring and they have a payment processing system)?


Our organization is starting a recurring gifts campaign to increase automatic gifts from donors.  One of the things we would like to do is to "encourage" donors to turn their one time gift into a recurring one by having a pop-up message or another way to let donors know the benefit of this option.  Editing the donation form on OLX is limited and there is no pop-up feature (that I am aware of).  I know you can create a separate donation form tailored to recurring gifts regarding giving amounts etc and send the link in an email campaign but we're looking at how to encourage it on the main donation form as well.  Any suggestions?
