Relationships info and reciprocal relationship next to each other

Options
Hello All, In my database I have some trouble with relationship and reciprocal matching up where they should. Basically, I want to export Constituent ID, Relationship Type. Reciprocal Type, then next to it Constituent ID of the Relationship, Relationship Type. Reciprocal Type.

Here is an example

John Smith (12345678) received the Brown Scholarship(71426998) 2 years ago.

His relationship has Relat Type as Scholarship, Recip Type as Former Scholarship Recipient

Brown Scholarship's relation to John Smith has Relat Type as Scholarship Recipient, Recip Type as Scholarship

Basically, I want the final result to show me: Relat Type Recip Type ConsID Relat Type Recip Type Scholarship Former Scholarship Recipient 71426998 Scholarship Recipient Scholarship
ConsID
12345678
If there is no way RE can do this, please know I am excellent at excel, so I can run two lists and put them together as long as they all have some identifying characteristics.

Thanks!

  • Are all of these Relationships Individual? or is one Individual and the other an Organization Relationship?  Not quite sure if there is enough info in your request to try and answer.
  • Happy to provide more info.

    John Smith is an individual

The Brown Scholarship is an organization
  • Create a Relationship Query and select Individual Relation Code one of Scholarship, Former Scholarship Recipient. Use that Relationship Query to create an Export type of Individual Relations. Choose the fields ->ID, Reciprocal, Relationship, Name; from Constituent ->Constituent Information ->Constituent ID, Name; Relationships->Individuals-> Reciprocal, Relationship.

This should give you all the information you wanted. Change the relationship and reciprocal codes when creating the query as needed.
