Online Express Unit Price Types Out of Order

Options
Hi everyone!

We are registering attendees for our annual Gala fundraiser through Online Express with a registration form, and alas, we have run into an issue:

I set up the sponsorships, tributes and individual ticket price type options in the Registration form. Sponsorships highest to lowest in price, tributes highest to lowest, then individual tickets, then a "free" registration that can be used to donate to the Gala if you can't attend. The form is linked to our (Wordpress based) website using the JavaScript the form helpfully provides, and all appears good with the world.

The problem is, occasionally and without any fanfare, the order of the options will abruptly change. This requires me to go into the form and re-order the unit price types. I find myself logging onto our Gala event page every hour or so to check that the price type order is still intact. The usually very helpful KB provides me with (in this case) advice that is not at all helpful (See https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/100396).

Is there anything I can either DO or NOT DO to minimize this from happening? Is there any sort of work-around? I've been the main Blackbaud advocate for my organization, oftentimes having to convince reluctant people to hop on the Blackbaud train. Now I feel like crow is on the dinner menu. Any advice would be appreciated!

  • Duane, this happened to me as well. I don't have a "real" fix as it's definitely a glitch, but the way I solved it was to leave the form alone - as in, don't make any edits to it after you've ordered the gift amounts correctly. If you don't edit it, it won't change the order.
