Status of Resolving Inability to have multiple event registrations on one registration form

We are struggling with the lack of this feature in Online Express (vs. NetCommunity) and I would like to hear from Blackbaud on what the road map is for this to be added or a workaround.

Good to know that this is an issue as I was not aware of this. We use BBNC and offer multiple events on one form for our Reunion.

We actually have a workaround for this that is working okay for us. We set up the different "activities" within the event as price units. So, for example, Alumni Weekend has about 30 different "activities", some of which are paid and others are free. Each is its own unit on the Prices tab of the event. These units are then available in the online event registration tab of OLX. It is a bit awkward, but from the donor side, it works, and there is no longer a need for a separate "umbrella" event to contain all the events.

Ingrid, you mentioned that you are working around the multi-activity registration by setting up the activities as price units within the event. Do you find that you have to give the names of the registrants for every selection made? Do you know a way to avoid that?

Unfortunately, the only way we have found to avoid having to enter the name for each selection made is to not require that they enter all of the guest name information for each activity. You can do this on the second tab of the event, under "Do you want to allow guests to register anonymously?" We find that most people still give the guest names, but we do have a few more "Mr. Smith Guest" types of entries we have to create.
