View Query in NXT

I have created a custom query of constituents in data base view that my supervisor wishes to screen.  Is there a way to view this query in NXT?

Hi Bob,

If your query in the database view is a static query, the answer is yes. (You can save a dynamic query as a static, in case it isn't already in that format.)  In NXT, you would go to Lists, Constituents, select the plus sign in the circle to create a new list. You will see 3 options to build a new list. Select the option for "Start with a static query" and search for the name of your custom query. From there, you can arrange filters and columns as desired. What do you do if you have gone through the steps indicated above, but your query does not appear? (I double checked the exact spelling of the name, with appropriate case treatment, and the fact that it was a static query. I am not sure where else to turn.)

Hi Bob, Try doing a File, Save As and save the Static query as a new query. sometimes when you change a query from Dynamic to Static the system still thinks it is a Dynamic query and will not show in NXT.

It'd be sooo nice if existing dynamic queries in database view would appear in web view. If you agree, voting is open and doing well via Idea RENXT - I - 166 Allow lists to run off of dynamic queries, which has recently had similar ideas/votes merged into it. If you've not already done so, I encourage you to find it in the Ideas tab, cast your vote, and spread the word!
