Can we use importomatic for NCOA data returns?

Has anyone had any luck uploading NCOA data using importomatic.  We currently have students update manually, but our database is growing where this is taking up a LOT of time.  Advice?

We don't do NCOA updates but we do use ImportOmatic to import new addresses from the student record database and from our telephone appeal software. One of those processes uses ImportOmatic's similarity scoring to assess whether the address is truly new, and the other one uses import IDs to match to a specific address, since we have the same address import IDs in RE and the other database. Both seem to work well - do you have any specific concerns about the import process? There are various settings available to control how the new address is added, for example copying the existing one to an alternate.

I tried to post screen prints, but it doesn't work.

I map the new address from NCOA to the Constituent address fields.

In address processing I select to compare the incoming address to the existing address.

I select to save the previous address type to "Previous home address" and check the box to preserve the links.  There is help in the Importomatic user guide about updating addresses.
