Campaign Report

I'm fairly new to Razor's Edge (my back ground is Andar360) and am having problems finding a good Campaign Report.  It appears cash donations do not appear on the Pledge and Recurring Gifts Report.  Can anyone tell me the best report to look at a campaign that would show Total Pledge and Donation Amount/Total paid/Total Balance due by Donor?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You're correct. Cash does not pull into the Pledge report. 


My suggestion would be Reports > Financial Reports > Gift Summary and Detail. Use a Detail report. Set the criteria for each column. Say col. 1, cash gifts - you decide if you want pledge payments included (cash-pay or not); col 2 pledges, col 3 pledges with check box for just reporting pledge balance. 


You can set filters to what campaign you want.


Definitely one option in Raiser's Edge.

Thank you so much JoAnn!   That worked perfectly. (Took me a few tries but I got it!)

My other challenge is to run a campaign report for our accounting department at the EOM.  

If it's not run on the last day of the month I cannot seem to capture only the payments

made thru say 7/31/2018 as an example.   Do you know of a report that does that?

The reports have an option for gifts to include where you can select dates. For the report you just did look at the options for include gifts with these dates. Select gift date or GL post date. Next for date there are lots of options this..., last..., next..., or a date range. To run a report for prior month you can select "last month" as you criteria or use a date range like 9/1/18 to 9/30/18. For reports I consistently run at the beginning of the next month I use "last month" so I don't have to change every time. For other reports where I'm using 1/1 to end of prior month I use the date range.

When I select a gift date range from 7/1/18 to 7/31/18 a payment that was received in Sept is included on the report.

LOL - it shouldn't be. 

Double check things like are you selecting by gift date or GL post date? The dates on the gift record correct for both those things? 


Check the gift types you've included.For gift types are you pulling in a pledge that was made in July? 


Is it the September gift that is pulling the donor in or are they possibly pulled because you have box marked for SC to SC and they have a gift like that?


That's the thoughts I have so far.

One "gotcha" in RE when pulling reports for prior date ranges, you can't easily determine the outstanding pledge balance on a prior date.  If you run a report today on pledges made in July that has had payments in August and September the pledge balance will reflect those payments even if you're only looking at a July date range.
