Fundraiser Goals

In 2019, for the first time, each fundraiser will have a goal.  Our fundraisers have their own funds, based on the locations they cover.  To track goals, do I need to create a new set of funds for each fundraiser every year?

    You may want to test that in your sample database. We have a new fund and goals each year. When running the Solicitor Performance Analysis you can specify dates to include so perhaps that would work without having to have a new fund. I'd test it if no one else provides a definite answer. Logic says it might work.

    For our MGOs, we use Proposals to track their Metrics and Goals. When a gift comes in, we just tie it to the Proposal and track the asks and dollars that way. I will be upfront, we do all of our reporting outside of RE. This provides us the greatest level of flexibility on how we calculate our metrics.
