Online Express to RE Event Participant Record

We recently switched from NetCommunity to Online Express and have been having issues with the way our event participant records come through. In the past, under the "Participant" drop down list we were able to choose from Attendee, Sponsor, Volunteer, Donation Only, etc (all coming from the "Participant Type" table in Config. Then, on the next tab, "Registration Fees", the person coming to the events would have all their events listed, ie Saturday Night Dinner, Friday Night Dinner, Mass, and Tour. However, now that we have switched to Online Express, the "Participant" drop down list also contains items from the Config table "Event Units" such as Saturday Night Dinner, Mass, etc, and shows only one of the things the person has registered for. We then have to guess at what the other things they wanted to attend are. 


Has anyone had this issue? Am I missing something obvious in this update?
