Anyone use SecurityMetrics for PCI Compliance?

We used to use Global for our payment processor and they required that we use SecurityMetrics to determine PCI Compliance.  We've been using BBMS for a number of years and thought we would no longer have to use them.  (https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/64009)  I received a call last evening from someone at SecurityMetrics who made me nervous, though.


Does anyone else have BBMS for your processor, yet still pay nearly $100 annually for SecuirtyMetrics' PCI compliance certification?  That doesn't seem like a lot, but I didn't budget for it and felt like we were going to be held hostage until we paid.  I didn't yet, but wanted to get some feedback from my fellow fundraisers first.
