How can I embed a Convio Survey into a non-Convio page?

It is possible to embed surveys/registrations on sites not hosted by Convio, and still acquire the results in Convio. You will need to follow the steps below.

1. If you haven't done so already, create the Survey in the Convio Admin interface. Set this up just as you would a survey that you would host on your own site.

2. Publish the survey.

3. You will now need to display the survey from the end-user's side. This may mean inserting the survey on a page for a short period of time.

4. When you are viewing the survey from the end-user's side, right click on the page and choose "View Source".

5. When the page's source code comes up, right-click and choose Select All. This will highlight all of the text on the page.

6. Right-click again and choose the Copy function. This is the code you are going to need to embed the survey on the other site.

7. You will now just need to paste this code into the backend of the site in which you are embedding the survey. This will then transmit the answers to Convio.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you make ANY changes to the survey, you will need to repeat this process. Updates made in Convio will have NO EFFECT on the survey you have embedded in a foreign page. Changes made to the survey in Convio that are not made to the external survey may result in a loss of functionality in the survey.

Cool. Glad to see this on here!

What part of the code do I need to paste in. This sounds like you paste the entire source (which I don't want to do.. just the survey). Also.. do I need any of the head info and if so, will I need to update any of the link paths to any .js or .css files?
