Hide empty fields on receipt

Options
Has anyone been able to hide unused fields on a tax receipt?  For example, if you have the full address field on a receipt and the donor only enters information in the Address 1/Street 1 field, the system will then leave a blank space on the receipt if nothing is added to the Address 2/Street 2 field.  Is there a way to hide the Address 2/Street 2 field if nothing is added in that field?

Thanks,

Meghan

Meghan... are you referring to a PDF receipt? Either way... what I recommend is making your receipt have a label for the address area that just says, "Address:" and not street, city, state, zip all on different lines. In a PDF receipt you can use billing_city_state_zip for that address block when configuring the "object" in the PDF form design. In an email you can use [[S120:dc:donorAddress]]. So it's all about the design of the receipt and the display of the data elements. I think it's easier to do what you want this way instead of trying to create conditionals that test for blank data and then hiding a label based on whether data is there or not.

    Hope that helps.
