Refreshing List for Scheduled Email

Does anyone know if you can successfully refresh a mailing list in OLX to a scheduled email without unscheduling the email?

    It seems as though this has changed since I last experienced trying to update a Query behind an OLX List used in a scheduled Message...at that time, it did not update the OLX List once the Message was scheduled.  Then again, maybe I missed something that I needed to do when I expected that OLX would pull a fresh list prior to sending the Message.
