View message email link unsecure

Hi All,

We discovered that the View Message link we use in our email footers is insecure and throwing a warning message. 


1. Is there a modification or update I can use that will be secure?

2. Do I need this link? It seems not quite as prevalent in marketing emails these days, but I do see it occasionally.

You should be able to update it to: https://secure3.convio.net/river/site/MessageViewer?em_id=24707.0&dlv_id=0. 


It looks like there are a lot of URLs that are not secure URLS in the e-mail template. 


Also - the email is looking beautiful! Great job!

Thank you, yes, I've tried updating the link but I either get a Not Found or it reverts to the insecure url. I will check through the email for other insecure urls. Maybe that's the issue.

All of our Luminate links and image links appear to be insecure. Is there a system update I should be aware of or are we all waiting for the new email beta to come out?

You need to contact your CSM to get a quote to get your site secure.


We just did this, but it took awhile to get the quote...

You mean our Luminate account manager? We are not using Luminate for our website (which is secure), only for online tools (donation forms, emails, and actions). Is this something Blackbaud would charge us for? Thanks,

Your Luminate instance has its own domain, in this case: http://river.convio.net


This is not secure. Your donation pages will be and that is where @Hilary's idea of  https://secure3.convio.net/ came from.
