Consolidated receipts

Hello,


I'm new to RE and would like some help to retrieve consolidated receipts. I have a few donors who made multiple donations to sponsor participants for a walk event.

I've already change the Bio 2 to consolidated receipts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What do you mean by "retrieve consolidated receipts"? 

    The function works really well except you can not use it if your receipts thru Mail are based on conditional merges. It will mark gifts as receipted but you will not have those letters in your Word document. If you are receipting for one fund it works fine. It will just total up gift amount and all gifts are marked as receipted (assuming you're receipting thru Mail). I use it for all our monthly donors and for payroll deductions.

    Thanks for responding.

    We do use mail merge for receipts in word. They are all for the same fund so it shouldn't be a problem, but I'm not sure how to find them to print. 

    Where do I look?

    You have the pop-up when you merge them just like any other receipt to select your file location and name. Merge just like any other receipts.

     The gift batch is consist of both regular and consolidated receipts. The regular receipts were printed but not the consolidated ones. I entered the batch again and it saying there's nothing. I'm not sure why its not working.

    For the receipt document you use, is it conditional - filtered on a field for different letters?  If so, it doesn't give you a copy of the letter.  All the gifts get marked as receipted but the Word doc will skip receipt #s of any consolidated receipts.


    Unfortunately, they are not anywhere that you can retrieve them.  If you open the gift tab on one of the records you'll see the gifts are marked as receipted and have a receipt #. You will need to change the gifts that you wanted to include in the consolidated receipts to "Not receipted." Depending on the size of your batch, you may want to do a global change to change the entire batch to Not Receipted, remove receipt # and date. Then process again with some changes to how you do it.


    When I run receipts that are consolidated, I make sure all gift are for one fund and that I am just using one document, not a conditional merge.
