Can anyone tell if they use HubSpot with RE and the pros and cons they have run into with using it. Anything you can share with me would be great.

Hi Nancy,

We use HubSpot and we use RE but they are not connected in any way


We export lists from RE and import into HubSpot and once a month I export from HubSpot people who opted out of receiving emails to update RE with that information


The pro of using HubSpot is it is more robust in terms of design for our Communications department.


Cons is they are not connected

Do you mean like using the email functionality in Luminate or NetCommunity?


Or what are you needing HubSpot for?  I'm assuming email as that is all we use it for


In any case I've used both Luminate and NetCommunity for email blasts and my experience has been the following:


1. Hard to design an email as there is this background HTML coding that happens that screws up the format

2. Because of the HTML - or it could be other reasons - there seems to be a higher number of emails getting stuck in SPAM filters
