I'm trying to gather constituents we want to thank for being consistent donors over the years. I started by making a dynamic, individual query.


Here is the criteria for the universe of donors:


·  Has given every year consecutively for at least 10 years 

·  Last 12 months' cumulative total of at least $500 to any of these revenue lines: AGGG, AGDM, AGAQ, AGPPS, AGRE, AGAM, AGWS, AGMM, AGMHE

·  Lives in one of these counties: Faulkner, Garland, Grant, Hot Spring, Lonoke, Perry, Pulaski, Saline or White in Arkansas only"


Is my query on the right path?

Hi Carlos,

There is a Consecutive giving report, it is housed in the Analytical reports.  I would start with a query using your last 2 points of criteria in the query from above, and then take that query into the report and assign the years there.

Hi... Your query as is looks good... but a few quick observations:


I don't see the state of Arkansas in your query.  A lot of county names are duplicated in different states.


Are you sure you don't want to also filter on gift type?  If someone made a pledge but never paid it they'd show up.  Write-Offs may show up, too.


I get nervous using Consecutive Years because.. .man, I hate leaving people out if they accidentally forgot to send a check in one year out of ten.. but that's just me.

Good points, Tom. This is helpful information to consider. I have had write-offs show up before and will try to remember filtering on gift types.

Hi, slightly hijacking this thread but where did you find the gift consecutive years giving field to query on? I have been desperately looking for one to include within our queries but am unable to find it, are you on RE 7?

Consecutive Years Giving is in the Summary Information section, towards the bottom of the field list.
