Thank you to everyone who attended our webinar today: Online Giving in Online Express! We had some great questions that I wanted to post about here: 

Can you add an image to a thank you email?

Currently in Online Express, there isn't a function to add an image into your Thank you/Confirmation Email that a donor receives after making a donation. We do have a solution that has worked for some organizations in our Knowledgebase solution here: How to add a logo, image, or picture to the confirmation email in Online Express

How do we test forms?

While you can use the Preview function to see how your form will look, testing your form will likely involve embedding your form on a webpage (this could be a non-donor facing test page that your webmaster sets up) and giving it a try! You can test a transaction by either (1) making a small donation using a personal or organizational credit card and refunding the card later OR by (2) changing your Blackbaud Merchant Services Account to run in Demo Mode and use test credit card numbers. Once you complete the test, you'll want to change your Blackbaud Merchant Services account back to live mode quickly! How does Givalanche work? 

Givalanche is a tool Online Express offers to encourage your donors to share their giving and encourage others to give as well! Here is a short video to illustrate how Givalanche works and looks for your donors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcexN9GlQe0

• Can I change the email address used by Givalanche for its donor notification emails? Yes. On Step 5 of the donation form, simply edit the from email address and/or from name.
  
   
• Can I customize the text or images that appear when Givalanche is offered to donors? Not currently, no. But we'll be looking at and testing text options that are the most effective at helping maximize the growth of and participation in a Givalanche and we'll make sure that Givalanche always makes use of the best-tested verbiage and content.
  
   
• Can I customize the social sharing text that's offered to donors when they choose to share a Givalanche? Not currently, no. But donors can. Before they submit the post to their Facebook or Twitter timelines or send an email with the Givalanche sharing link, they can edit the content to their liking.
  
   
• How will Givalanche data appear in The Raiser's Edge? There are a few ways you can see and report on Givalanche data in The Raiser's Edge, our solution here will tell you more about how the data appears and can be reported on!
