Intergenerational Giving Report

I have been asked to find out how many families we have in RE, where there is intergenerational giving. We do not soft credit children or grandchildren for their parents' giving, so I am not sure exactly how to set up a query to find this out.

Any ideas out there?

You would have to use Query for this.  I imagine that this would best be done by either merging Queries or by using Query List.  You'll need to identify donors as well as donors who have familial relationships with other donors.  You don't need soft credits for this to work, but you do need to have linked relationships consistently and to have easily identifiable relationship types.
