    KaLeigh,

Not to put off your question in any way, it's a good one to ask...  Did you search the forums for past posts on clean up, database maintenance?  This question has been posted previously with extensive replies including lists of queries and ideas for handling data clean up.  A search would be a good place to start and then follow up with specific questions.

Thanks, JoAnn! We have based queries off of some of those posts, I'm just interested in some other possible examples. I appreciate your feedback!

Queries let you look for fields that are blank, so one great Spring Cleaning thing to do is write queries with Zip code = Blank, or Add/Sal = Blank, etc... Then you can clean up as necessary.

    Hey KaLeigh,

Moved this to the RE forum. Thanks!

Mine are mostly about finding blanks in our required fields.  For example, we have constituent code as a required field, and some of our older records still are missing that, and occasionally an online gift will get pulled through into RE without filling in the constituent code somehow.

The rest are cleanup projects to help keep our database healthier and easy to query and report on and use.  For example, I search addresses with missing start dates when the ending dates are filled in.  They're still excludable because the end date is there, but I want the whole picture.
