General Ledger Posting Status

Hi

We currently do not use FE and I am in the process of trying to export the gifts to our external GL. My question is when I'm entering the gift, do I select the Not Posted option and when we we run the post to general ledger process will the option automatically change to Posted? Thank you

We post to FE. No matter where/how you post you'll want gift entry to select "not posted." When you do pull the gifts to post it will automatically mark them as posted (that's what this knowledgebase article says) and creates a csv file. If it didn't change them to posted, you could use the csv file to do a global change to the gifts and mark them as posted.


You'll probably get a response from someone else who does not post to RE and hopefully they can confirm this.
