If we move to hosted can the hosted Outlook instance be pointed to GMail IMAP servers and integrate with RE?

Hi everyone - I think the subject says it all:


Our current setup:


We host our own RE db

Our development department uses Outlook pointed to our Exchange server

Our development department uses the Outlook / RE integration plug-in to send messages from RE and create actions


Our future setup:


We will be migrating from Exchange to GSuite/GMail

We will also be moving to Blackbaud hosted RE / NXT


The question:


When we move to hosted RE/NXTS, can the Blackbaud provided Outlook instance be pointed to GMail IMAP serves and provide the same functionality that we are used to now?

Hi Jonathan-


I see Workato is promoting a solution which tells me Blackbaud probably doesn't offer this service. The only kb I found on email integration is for Outlook.
