Autofill address for multiple registrants?

Hi all,


When a family registers for an event and Mom is filling in the form to register herself, Dad, and each of three kids, is there a way for her to "copy" or "autofill" the address she used for heself into the registrant information for everyone else she is registering?  Or does she need to fill it in by hand for each registrant?  I didn't think this was possible but received different information at a conference I recently attended and would love to know.  


PS: the person who shared this with me indicated it had something to do with the "Do you want to allow guests to register anonymously" section.

There isn't a specific option to say "This registrant has the same address," but if you're including address, many browsers have auto-fill settings that may appear to automatically fill in the same address, so perhaps that's what the person was thinking?


The "Do you want to allow guests to register anonymously" option will display a checkbox on the form that will create an anonymous "guest of" participant record in Raiser's Edge. This is a great option for hosts that might not know who they are bringing yet. 


Also, keep in mind if you're having a family event where most registrants will share an address, but someone is still paying to attend, you can choose not to include the address information for each registrant on your form. Online Express will still collect the billing address for the person paying.

Thanks much, Rachel.  That's what I thought!  I'm so very puzzled by what this consultant was trying to explain to me.  Perhaps I'll have to follow up with her directly.  Because we have so many *free* events where the whole family is registering, we want to find a product/solution that allows for the copying over of address.  Or, a way to make address required for the first registrant but not subsequent.  If we don't make address required we have a VERY hard time matching the data back to the constituent.
