Duplical Phone Numbers in RE

Is anyone having a problem entering phone numbers.  I have tried to enter phone numbers on a couple of constituent records and

when I try to save the number an error message pops up saying that this is a duplicate phone type when there are no other numbers listed

on these constituent records. Am I missing something?

Check the Inactive box.  You'll find that there are phones numbers of the same type marked inactive.
