Huge thanks to everyone who came out this afternoon for our Downloading Transactions webinar, part of our Getting Started with Online Express webinar series. As usual, we had some very thoughtful questions and I wanted to post some additional information about here: 

Is it possible to change the address type for new addresses added?

If you're making a quick one-off change to an address type, I'd recommend opening constituent record after you've linked. That way, you can make any edits needed to that record.

Otherwise, if you'd like to add addresses under a specific address type for all new constituents, you can also create what we call "Default Sets" in The Raiser's Edge. When automatically matching constituents, is it possible to check more than one type of email phone types?

When matching constituents, Online Express will check all of the emails on the constituent record, which is great! You still may want to click Find Constituent and adjust search settings to double check in certain situations. For example, you may configure your overall constituent matching settings to auto match based on email and last name, but maybe you click Find constituent to double check there are no other constituents with that email address in your system.

How are online donations receipted? Can we choose to send out a manual receipt. Sometimes if it's an event, we would not issue an official tax receipt.

Online donations can be receipted offline or can be set up online - it's your choice! You can also choose to send eReciepts for some forms and not for others. For more information, see our Knowledgebase instructions here: How to set up receipts (eReceipts) in Online Express.
