Query won't populate in 'Open Query' dialogue box in the export tab

Hi Guys!

My colleague created a query in queries. I want to export it into a custom export. When I go into the export tab, click on the custom export, the include button, then include selected record, then search for the exact title of the query that I know exists, it doesn't populate. When I search the first letter of the query, yes, the screen populates with many many queries with that first letter, but the one I want isn't there. Did my colleague do something when she created the query to prevent it from coming up?

Is the export the same type as the query?
Constituent = constituent, gift = gift and so on.

The query might not be available for you to look at or change.  Ask the user to look at the query options, under Tools, and see if one of the two checkboxes are checked.

Dear Shawn and Merrianne,


Thanks for your great answers. Merrianne was right this time, the Query was a Participant Query, and needed to be a Constituent Query for me to see it. Blackbaud support called and we fixed it together.
