Does anyone know the best way, or rather, which report I should be pulling, to find out which links in an email are getting the most clicks? Thanks!

Email > Reports > Clickthrough Details Report

Once you download the report, there is a column for URL. If every url in the email is the same, you won't get any useful info, but in the future you can use sourced urls to denote which link people are clicking on.

We use Google Campaign tags as well as Luminate s_src and s_subsrc tags to track and differenciate links.

  • Hi Kate -

You can also append your own query string parameter to links in emails so that each link is unique - &link=header, &link=image, &link=button

This will give more richness to the Click Details report, otherwise each link will be a summation of the destination URL.

    Happy coding,

    Sara
