Security Group & Permissions for Surveys Only

Is it possible to create a security group for viewing or managing survey response reports only? I created a security group, selected permissions and assigned the user the Sub-Administrator group using the Junior Administrator concept (Managing Security scenario 4). However, the test user could not access Luminate without being a part of the standard Site Administrator group which allows full access to the back-end of Luminate.  Also, when I added the user to the Site Administrator and Sub-Administrator groups the user still was able to see everything. 


Am I missing something? Has anyone else had success in implementing this level of security in Luminate Online?  Or, can provide any suggestions on how to make this happen?

Hi Shameeka,


I just tested and was able to create a security group and set it so my new test admin could only view/manage surveys.


What I did:

1. Made sure the new group has the security mode of "Admin Security Group." Okay, I actually forgot this setting at first and had to go back and change it.
2. Set the permissions of "Content - Survey Management Only" to "Manage Survey Responses" and set "Content Viewing" to "View Content." This allows my sub-admin to see Survey content and also the admin home page. This is a tricky one and one I almost forgot.
3. Made sure to create an admin and not a regular constituent account and assign them to the new security group.

Then I logged in as my test user and could only see the Admin home page and the only menu option I had was Content > Survey.
