Find pledge payments for another constituents pledge

Hello!


Is it possible to create a gift query that will show me all pledge payments that are applied to another individual's pledge? For example, a business owned by a constituent might be the entity that sends the check, but it is for a pledge under the individual. Our college just recently converted to RE and I want to make sure that soft credits for these types of individuals (which are usually high profile) are correct.

I can't imagine there is a way to query on this using RE query. It may be possible if you have someone query from the back end in SQL, however.

I also can't think of a way to query on this directly - you may have to do a gift export for all pledges. If you include the constituent ID for the person who made the pledge in your ouput, then expand Instalments > Payments > Payment Gift > Constituent > Constituent Information and include the constituent ID there, you can then compare the two fields in Excel and see where you have pledges that were paid by a different constituent.
