Processing Monthly Donors

Hi,


Does anyone know the threshold of the number of monthly donors that you can process in RE at one time in the hosted enviroment(between 40000-60000 monthly donors).  In the past i have tried with less then 5000 and have sometime had issues with time outs.  But with a number in the thousands i am not sure how this woudl work.  If anyone has ideas or has process a very large number of payments in RE please do let me know.

What exactly do you mean when you say "processing"?

When i say processing actually running the payment for the gift through EFT.  Charging the cc or debit info in RE.

Well in that case, we have to split ours into
weekly batches as RE does tend to hang and then crash out quite a
lot when handling big transmission files.

that is what i suspected. I just wanted to see what others do with a high number of gifts.  What is the most you have tried at once to process cc or direct debits.

Hi Divyesh,

 

The maximum I have successfully processed at
one time is around 8,000 transactions.  Anything over 10,000
seems to tip it over the edge!

It can be very frustrating!

how long did it take you to process thsoe payments in EFT module?  are you in a hosted environment or self hosted?
