Consent Comments field? For finer detail reporting

We have been recording consents in Attributes and using the Comments field for the specifics. We will be looking to Import these to the Consent Fields at the next Upgrade and using Solicit Codes, so ideally there would be a 'Comments' field or similar in Consents to record the detail - as the Category and Source fields are higher level e.g. Website / Newsletter - we want to also record e.g. which newsletter.


Will a Comments field be included (along with the coming consent date field)?


If not, are there any work-arounds we could consider?

Hi Kate,


We just installed Patch 8 for Raiser's Edge with the Consent screen.  Attached  is a screen shot of what it looks like (for some reason, I couldn't paste a screen shot).  We only use the "Requests No Email" box and Do not solicit, and a few others in the Solicit field.  I'm not sure quite yet how we will integrate this tool into our communication plan.


I know this doesn't answer all of your question, but it's a start.

Hi Lisa, we're also on Patch 8. Unfortunately is only has 'high level' category and source fields, not the specific detail e.g. Comments / Exact source, which we'd prefer for our GDPR trail.
