Managing Sustainers in LO and RE

Hi. We're new to LO, and are struggling with managing sustainers. Raiser's Edge is our CRM so we need recurring gift information on constituent records in RE to be accurate. We had to purchase the Omatic Connector, so we don't have RE-LO. How are others tracking changes and updating records for lapsed sustainers? Is anyone finding that lapsed in LO differs greatly from BBMS declined transactions? Since we have so many questions, I'll be submitting them under separate posts. Thank you for your help!

We're just setting up IOM, so I don't have answers yet. I'll check out what we're seeing during testing and post and answer.

Certainly. Lasped is a condition indicator, recorded in a field on the transaction record. It means that payments have failed on a sustaining gift but are still being attempted. A declined transaction in BBMS is one of those failures. Related, but not the same. https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/67317


A donor may go lapsed from a BBMS decline due to insufficient funds, but the next attempt could succeed which would restore the Active condition - So Active, even though there was a failure in the past.
