Conditional Code in Header?

Options
Hi,

I'm trying to do a few different things and I feel like they'll have the same answers.

I want to add different social share coding and different Facebook pixels to different pages using the header.

For example:

1. I need to add a Facebook Pixel code to the confirmation page of an event to track registraions.

2. I need to change the social sharing code so that it displays one image/text on the home page, and another for participant pages.

3. I want to add different Google Adwords conversions to each of my confirmation pages.

Short of making different page wrappers for each of these page types (since that's the only place I can see to make edits to the header where these codes are required), how can I do this?

Hey Elizabeth. I am no expert in this at all, but we've added FB pixel codes and Google conversion codes in the plain text view of actual confirmation pages and autoresponders (events and donation pages), at the very top before the beginning of the page or email content. Since they're essentially scripts, they don't appear in the page or email, but I'm told by my web people that they do indeed return the necessary info.

  • Thanks, I haven't tried that for the conversion codes, but it doesn't work for the social sharing code. Facebook still pulls the generic one.
