Is there a way that offline donation numbers can be added to a thermometer to show all gifts, not just online gifts? If so, how do I do that? Also, I think that I already asked this, but I can't remember -- does a thermometer track only dollar amounts? Can it track numbers of gifts? For example, we'd like to show that our goal is to receive 100 gifts from a certain group and we've received 15 to date.

Hi Roberta,

Convio thermometers track dollars donated vs. dollar goals, not the number of gifts.

You can, however, adjust the thermometer at any point:

1. Go to Donation Management > (Campaign Name) manage link > Adjust Thermometer

2. In field #2, enter the amount you want to increase the thermometer by

3. Click "Save"

One important thing to know - you can add to the thermometer and adjust it upwards, but you can't subtract from the thermometer to adjust it back down. This is a global adjustment for all donation forms that roll up into the campaign.

If you're donation form is set up to receive both online and offline gifts, the thermometer will also adjust when you go to a constituent's record, click on the transactions tab, and enter a gift manually.
