Query not pulling all donors - used to work fine but now it's not

Options
I run a query each month of people who already gave that month before sending out a second appeal.  It used to work just fine.

Today there's suddenly a problem.  We have over 320 donors, but when I try to pull them into a query that's supposed to get those whose last transaction date falls on or after Feb 1, I only get 42 results.

Please help!!!

Can you provide a screenshot of your query?  Maybe someone will see something that you're missing.  Sometimes it just takes a second pair of eyes.  :)

Good morning.  I think there is an issue with this.  I tried the same thing and it pulled in people who never donated and didn't pull in people who did.  I would open a trouble ticket.  Provide them examples of any that are incorrect or missing.  Maybe they could shed light on the issue.

In the meantime, you could work around it by running a transaction report from Donation Management for the month.

Unfortunately, you can't add them to a group from here, but you could always download the file and then upload them as a group assignment upload (https://www.blackbaud.com/files/support/helpfiles/luminate-online/help/luminateonline.html#../Subsystems/DataManagement/Content/Concepts/Admin_ImportExport_GroupAssignmentUpload.html).  We often do this because it's more reliable when wanting just to filter out those who gave to specific forms, but we forgot to create a group for them (or there are several).

Hopefully someone else in the community might see something else I didn't.  Good luck!

    Hi Katy,

Have you tried using Lists in Luminate Beta? You can filter by everyone who has given this month and push the list to Luminate Online. You can then add the list group to your Do Not Mail audience and it will update before sending your email.

  • Did you log a support case? We are having the same issue - the last transaction date on the constituent's profile tab is NOT actually showing the last transaction, but an older one - so that's why the query isn't getting everyone that you expect.

I've pinged support for an update on this case.
