Export from RE 7.96 using Office 365

Hey Community! 


I need to pick your brains. My organization is in the processes of converting all employees from Office 7 to Office 365. In doing so these RE users have lost the ability to export files to excel.


This is a known issue documented with Blackbaud.


We are currently using RE version 7.96 with patch 1 installed. We are not hosted (obviously, since we are several patches behind).


In looking at the latestest release notes for patch 8 we didn't see anything specific to the resolution of this issue. 


Is there anyone in the Community who is unhosted, using RE 7.96 and using Office 365? If so, can you share your solution for this reporting issue?

Hi Alicia,


I saw your post was kind of old, but I thought I would respond just in case you hadn't figure it out yet.


The issue with export was a Microsoft patch issue, not a Blackbaud issue.  If you were to go to the latest Microsoft patches, this solves the issue.
