Monthly Donor Process on LO

Hello, 


We have our first monthly donor on our LO platform.

We noticed he received a tax receipt after his first donation - is there a way to turn receipting off and send them a consolidated receipt at the end of every year?

This is the process we currently use for non-online donors and would like to keep it consistent. 

Also, when someone signs up to be a monthly donor - are they charged on the same date as the date of their first gift each month? Or, is there a set date on the LO platform that charges all monthly donors?

Hi Marina, 


Yes - if you go to the donation form and look in the autoresponders, there are a bunch of different autoresponders that you can customize or disable. 


Steps: 

Fundraising > Donation Management. Find your donation form > Edit > 5. Configure Autoresponders > 


You will likely want to keep the "Sustaining Initial Thank You" as a confirmation of their monthly gift & disable the Sustaining Subsequent Thank You, which is that email that goes out monthly (or quarterly) based on the payment schedule.
