how can I determine what page the url /site/CO?cid= is referencing?

Options
We're going through Google Analytics and trying to determine what pages are being reference that include /site/CO?cid=.  My thought is CO is unsubscribe and cid= references the email the link was in. If that's correct, how do you find the cid of an email? If it's not correct, what else should I be looking at?

Thanks.

  • Got my own answer -- CO is the unsubscribe page, the cid is the optout group.
  • But I have another question on that topic.

Some of our Analytics urls include more than one interest group id or cid=0
    • I clicked Unsubscribe from a fundraising email and was taken to http://chesapeake.cbf.org/site/CO?i=t6NzVYUvwGs2U7cIMpnGcTd-gWFxyWmN&cid=1021&i=&cid=1089  I know 1021 is our EOY campaign and 1089 is our Fundraising interest.
    • I clicked Unsubscribe from an event email and was taken to a url with cid=0 - no designation of the email campaign or of our Event interest.
If anyone has any insights I'd love to hear them.

    Thanks!

Hey Kim! I appreciate you coming back to update the answer. :) I know this will be helpful to others in the future.

Hi Kim, I am curious what you learn about cid=0. Based on your discovery that cid is email interest group, my guess would be that one of 0 is a global (org level) removal (vs. a constituent being removed from just specific interest groups). Please keep us updated though!

Jason - That's a good thought. I have not yet heard anything official.
