How do I track which e-cards were used for notifications?

We have set up our donation form to allow people to make a tribute gift and then send an e-card to someone letting them know a donation has been made in their name, Happy Birthday, etc. Is there a way to track what cards were sent? We would like to know what design, animal, etc. are most popular.

Also, if someone forgot to click send an e-card, is there a way we can manually do this for them?

I have to mention that I have an open ticket with Convio on this and called twice with no return response, so any help would be really, really appreciated!
