Applying discounts to event entries

Hi All

Has anyone tried setting up events where registrants can enter a code to get a discount on the registration fee? We are using a local installation of RE 7.96 and OLX. All I can think of is having a main event page on the website and if people have a discount code they are routed to a different OLX payment page to people without a code. Ideas appreciated.

I think at the moment your idea of separate pages is the most feasible.  I know others have asked about this, so I'm sure it's in the OLX Idea Bank.  Yep.  It's actually in the Idea Bank 5 times...2 of them with almost-identical subject lines!  I suggest voting for all of them.  If you find any others (I just searched "discount"), post those links here, too, please.

Many thanks for the reply Jen and apologies for taking so long to respond. I will follow up your suggestion to vote for previous requests as this is going to become more of an issue for us and may mean we stop using OLX longer term.

I love OLX, but it is frustrating that the requests go back three years (different posts, same concept) and we still don't have a real way to offer discounts without setting up separate webpages.  This isn't a solution for some npo's.  I have voted for them and am wondering how many votes are needed before this gets on the Roadmap.  Does someone have the answer to this question?
