How many different donors do we have?

What report can I run that will show me how many donors we have in our constituent database? I'm trying to find out of the 5,000 constituents who have records in Convio, how many donated to us outright? how many just bought event tickets? how many just registered for a fun run, but didn't give above and beyond the reg fee?

I doubt this will answer your question outright (since it is a question itself) but have you tried creating a report through Report Writer? If not that is the first place I would start since it sounds like you have some specific data points that probably are not captured in the standard reports.

In the Customer Center, there is a page that lists all of the available OnDemand videos , so scroll down to the Report Writer video where you can both download the training materials and watch an online video. I've attached the training materials.
