Is it possible to set up an automatic email that will send on the constituents' birthday?

Not currently.


You can set up a Query that looks at Birthdates and then once a month copy the Birthday Message from the month before and send it.  The benefit is that you can edit the message to be specific to the month or time of year, the downside is that you have to manually initiate the process.
