Is there a way to change the survey question type after the question has been written?

I can not figure out how to change the "question type" on the surveys after I already wrote the question. When I click on "edit", I'm only able to change the content of the question,not the type. However, I would like to change the type from "Unlimited Text" to a shorter answer option. Any advice?

    Is there any reason you can't delete the question and create a new one with the new question type you'd like?

    I've always thought it would be nice to have the option to change the question type once you've already typed in the question but realize you need the format of the answer to be entered differently. Survey tools like SurveyMonkey and Zoomerang offer a lot more flexibility in the way you interact with the survey you're building.
