Hello and Happy New Year from Liz, Nevada and Catherine!

2009 marks the fifth year of The White House Project in Minnesota and we could not be more excited about what's to come. We're now in the process of finalizing dates for Go Run and other trainings for the year; we're also busy planning several collaborations with other political leadership organizations to develop even more support for women candidates. Plus, we'll be launching a leadership circle in Minnesota this year. STAY TUNED for more news about all the ways you can get involved!

GO RUN REUNIONS PLANNED

Have you attended GoRun in the past? Well, it's time for a REUNION! We want to see you, face-to-face, and hear all about what you've been up to since we saw you.

If you live in the Iron Range, Nevada Littlewolf will be traveling throughout the northland during February and March, and will be reaching out to schedule coffees and gatherings. Feel free to contact her at nlittlewolf@thewhitehouseproject.org to find out when she'll be in your area.

If you live in the Twin Cities metro area, please join us for a Go Run Reunion. Alums from all Go Runs are invited; the evening will offer a great chance to connect with fellow alums, do some speed networking, and be inspired! We'd love to see YOU there!

These are unpaid internships that offer flexible scheduling, inspiration and skill development for anyone interested in women's leadership. We are pleased to announce the most recent addition to the Midwest staff. Raven joined us last Fall. In an office where we are on the road much of time, we needed someone to keep the home fires burning. Enter, Raven! She was sent to us by Judi Townsend, owner of Mannequin Madness a company she started to keep mannequins out of the landfill. We shudder to think that our Raven could have been headed for a landfill and we are so grateful to Judi for arranging this adoption.

We met Judi last summer when she was a participant at WomenRule, our training with O, The Oprah Magazine. She ships her cast of characters from both coasts and she welcomes inquiries!

Raven may be missing some body parts, but she has a lot of heart and comes with more than enough attitude. Come by and say hello!
