How can we add google analytics eCommerce tracking to our donation forms using GA gtag.js?

Hello everyone,


We just redesigned our company website and updated our GA code to gtag.js in the process. We use Luminate Online for our donation pages and have successfully implemented the new gtag.js tracking code to use on our pagewrappers (we can see user traffic info), but have yet to intergate ecommerce tracking (like we previously had before).


From my understanding of the new GA gtag.js and Luminate Online, in order to recieve ecommerce data (donation amounts), I need to added the Measure purchases tracking code into our page wrapper or page builder, but replace the stock lines of code with Luminate code that dynamically pulls that info - is this correct?


*Side note: gtag.js only has enchanced ecommerce and our GA is already set-up to use it.


My overall questions are:

1. Where can I find these Luminate codes that dynamically pulls info for each transaction?
2. Am I on the right path towards getting donation information into our Google Analytics? If not, how should I intergate eCommerce tracking using gtag.js?
