How to pull data that includes Assigned Package

I am trying to do a data pull that gives me the Assigned appeal for a group of constituents AND the specific package for that appeal.  I have tried both a constituent and a gift query/export, and I also followed the instructions from the Knowledge Base. I am trying to pull constituent ID, Name, Assigned Appeal and Package ID from the assigned appeal. In all cases, what I get is constituent ID, Name, Assigned Appeal and then for all constituents in the data pull I get the first package listed in that appeal record. Not the package that was uploaded into the constituent Assigned appeal tab. So the export is not pulling package from the assigned appeal tab on the cosntituent record, but rather it is pulling directly from the Appeal record, which is  useless.


Does anyone know of a way to pull this data?

A constituent export should work here. You'll need to use the Package that's visible when you first expand the Appeals node; do not expand the Appeal sub-node within here and drill down any further, as all of those fields will relate to the appeal/package themselves rather than to the appeal on the constituent record.

Your export should look like:


[-] Appeals

      Package


and not:

[-] Appeals

   [-] Appeal

      [-] Packages

            Package
